Mixin the introduction

Scalability problem is one of the hottest topics in the cryptocurrency world, especially in Bitcoin and Ethereum community. Experts proposing solutions that can help to solve the scalability problem like the consortium consensus the Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) protocol and the Blockchain competitor the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG).

Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) protocol looks a promising solution in the scalability problem. Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) is a popular protocol in distributed computing and has been studied since 1978 (introduced by Leslie Lamport). BFT offers a more efficient consensus protocol, a better latency and a throughput with less computation, bandwidth, and storage. BFT protocol can process more transaction per second and ensure the liveness of the network. Popular projects using BFT protocol are NEO, Tendermint, Polkadot and Hyperledger Fabric.

Also Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) is one of other solution that experts proposing. Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) is considered as a Blockchain competitor, DAG is a different type of data structure an implementation of a graph. DAG is a tree-like data structure which is similar to a file directory structure where folders contain subfolders and subfolders contain sub-subfolders and so on. DAG used by IOTA and ByteBall.

There a good projects out there that implementing this two promising solution, the first project that implementing this two technology is the MIXIN.

MIXIN is a public distributed ledger that allows other’s public distributed ledger to gain more transactions, faster transactions, a low fee transaction, and more efficient network.
